Adult dose: up to 10 - 20ml three times a day, unless otherwise prescribed. 




Verbascum Thapsus

Common names: Mullein, Aaron's Rod

Family: Schrophulariaceae

Parts used: Flowers, leaves and stems.

Habitat: Grows on sand or chalky soil, native to central and southern Europe.

Constituents: Mucilage, Flavonoids, Volatile Oil, Saponins, Iridoid glycosides, Lignans. 

Actions: Expectorant, Demulcent, Diuretic, Emollient and Vulnerary (externally)

• Traditionally used for respiratory tract ailments, acts as a mucuous membrane tonic

• Coughs 

• Common Colds

• Respiratory Catarrh

•Tuberculosis
