Tincture of fresh wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) herb 1:2 45%
Artemisia absinthium, organic grain alcohol
Daily adult dose: 0.5 - 3ml per day, unless otherwise prescribed. Higher doses within this range should be for short term use only. Do not exceed stated dosage.
Avoid during pregnancy, breastfeeding and with hyperacidity, gastric and duodenal ulcers.
Avoid use in children, in porphoria, epilepsy.
Avoid all use of essential oil of wormwood due to keytone concentration.
Persons with sensitivity to the Compositae plant family should avoid wormwood.

Habitat: Hardy perennial shrub, with aromatic silvery divided leaves. Native to Eurasia and North Africa.
Constituents: Volatile oils (0.1-1%) including monoterpenes, keytones and sesquiterpenes. Sesquiterpene lactones, flavonoids, phenolic acids.
Actions: Aromatic bitter tonic, anthelmintic, emmenagogue, choleretic, stomachic, carminative

• Loss of appetite
• Irritable bowel, constipation, indigestion, nausea, gatric infections, roundworm
• Jaundice, hepatitis recovery
• Depression especially with associated loss of appetite
• Externally on bruises, sprains and rheumatism
