Sage Compound is a blend of herbs traditionally used to ease menopause symptoms such as hot flushes, low mood, anxiety, brain fog and sleep difficulties. This compound includes oestrogenic herbs to smooth this natural hormonal transition, alongside cooling, calming and uplifting herbs to support you along the way.
Though we understand every woman’s experience of the menopause is personal and unique, we have found this to be a fantastic blend for many of our regular patients over many years. However one of the great benefits of herbal medicine is the scope to tailor treatment entirely around the needs of the individual. - Black cohosh (Cimicifuga racemosa)
- Sage (Salvia officinalis)
- St John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum)
- Red clover (Trifolium pratense)
- Baikal skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis)
- Lavender (Lavandula officinalis)
- Water
- Alcohol
Max Dose: 5mls (a teaspoon) three times a day in water.
This blend is for women in the perimenopausal and menopausal stage of life and should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
This supplement contains St John’s Wort. Please check with our herbal team if you are taking any other medications including anti-depressants, anti-anxiety medication, hormone replacement therapy or the contraceptive pill.
Do not use if you are receiving hormonal therapy for cancer, such as tamoxifen (black cohosh). Please avoid alongside Interferon medication (baikal skullcap).
