This is a strong extract in high percentage alcohol, please mix with water.

Daily adult dose: 5 drops - 0.5ml in water up to three times a day unless otherwise prescribed.

Do not combine with blood thinning medications.

Family: Zingiberaceae

Part used: Rhizomes

Habitat: Evergreen bushy herb native to tropical lowland forests with aromatic bulbous and fleshy rhizomes, showy flowers with broad leaf spikes and growing to 1.2m tall. 

Constituents: Volatile oil; gingerols, shagols and diarylheptanoids (curcumin is a well known diarylheptanoid), oleoresins. 

Actions: Anti-nausea, antioxidant, circulatory stimulant, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, warming bitter, aids absorbtion of nutrients and other medcines.

Traditional and current uses:

• Nausea in pregnancy, motion sickness or due to chemotherapy

• Osteoarthritis

• High blood sugar

• A cough or cold

•  Poor circulation
