Adult Dose: 2ml up to three times a day unless otherwise directed.
Avoid when breastfeeding unless under professional supervision.

Habitat: This poppy can be identified amongst other poppies by it's four bright orange petals and collar-like receptacle at the base of the flower. California poppy grows wild on the open grassy slopes of Californian hills and in many other open sunny places in North America. Widely sown on verges by local councils in the UK .
Constituents: Isoquinoline alkaloids and carotenoids (yellow-orange pigment in the petals).
Actions: Anxiolytic, analgesic, mild sedative, hypnotic, antispasmodic
